Josephine is an emerging, contemporary artist from Brampton, ON.
She graduated with an HBA in Visual Arts from McMaster University in 2009 and received
an Interior Decorating diploma from Humber College in 2011.
In the summer of 2013, Josephine left her 2-year design career at Sarah Richardson Design
in Toronto, to pursue her passion for visual art. She uses acrylic paint to celebrate design,
fashion, nature, and urban electricity. Applying both structure and chaos to her works of
art; Josephine integrates bold graphic line drawings with colourful splatter and drip
layers. Although Josephine paints the intricate details of her works by brush, her chaos of
colour layers in each piece are literally painted by hand!
